The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers a good definition, juiciness, a fine suavity, tension, a fine firmness, a good freshness as well as a fine crunchiness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh cassis, small crunchy red berries and small notes of crunchy blackberry associated with a touch of plum, lily, violet as well as very fine hints of spices, cedar, fresh liquorice stick, a very discreet hint of Sichuan pepper and very discreet hints of chocolate/vanilla flowers. Good length and persistence. Tannins are well-built, precise and racy.
