The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful freshness, suavity as well as a slight fat. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh blackberry and slight notes of fresh/ripe cassis associated with a hint of wild raspberry, fresh/ripe red berries as well as discreet hints of licorice. Tannins are fine and slightly chewy. Good length and persistence.
