Château Jaques Noir 2021 – Saint-Emilion

The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is reserved and requires aeration. The first nose expresses a smoky (even slightly meaty) aroma, which is then combined with notes of fruit (morello cherry, red plum, black plum, crushed raspberry, strawberry), spices (liquorice, nutmeg), as well as with a fine floral touch (iris) The attack on the palate expresses a more pronounced touch of toasted wood, associated with spicy (nutmeg, liquorice) and fruity notes (black plum, morello cherry, strawberry, red cherry, crushed raspberry, plum red). The tannins are fine, velvety and cocoa. The finish expresses notes of chocolate, smoke and coffee, a salivating acidity and a good bitterness. Gourmandise and a certain power.
