Château Issan 2024 – Margaux, Cru Classé

The nose is fruity and offers a certain pulpiness and purity of fruit. It reveals notes of pulpy cherry, fleshy raspberry and small notes of violet, associated with little touches of cassis, fresh violet plum, as well as discreet hints of licorice stick and star anise. The palate is beautifully fruity, it offers minerality, freshness, a little tension, precision and a lovely fresh, juicy, textured grain. It presents a fine straightness in its structure. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, raspberry, and small notes of cornflower, combined with touches of violet, as well as fine hints of tobacco, licorice stick, graphene, sweet pepper and a fine hint of toasted. Good length. A wine offering freshness. A subtle hint of cornflower and good bitterness on the finish/persistence.
