Château Indépendance 2020 – Montagne Saint-Emilion

Château Indépendance 2020 – Montagne Saint-Emilion

On the nose it is fruity, aromatic, offering  some concentration, freshness and a little tightness. It reveals the notes of pulpy boysenberry, fleshy cassis and more lightly licorice combined with hints of dark berries, fleshy/crushed cherry and fine hints of crushed strawberry, vanilla, cornflower and a subtle touch of saffron and sweet spice. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, good definition, a certain gourmandize, a certain richness with excellence (and freshness) as well as an tangy frame. The wine express the notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, bright cassis and more slightly cherry associated with a little floral touch, licorice/zan, cardamom as well as fine vanilla and nutmeg. The tannins are precise and finely packed. Good length. Fine vanilla notes on the persistence.
