Château Hostens Picant – Cuvée des Demoiselles 2020, Sainte-Foy Côtes-de-Bordeaux 

On the nose, fresh and offers minerality. It has notes of ripe/fresh apple, nectarine and slightly fresh lily combined with hints of citrus, lemon blossom and a discreet touch of distinguished minerality. On the palate it is fruity, balanced and offers freshness, fat, a certain gourmandize, roundness and a fine flattering side. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy lychee, Spanish lime and more lightly of vine peach combined with small touches of apple blossom as well as fine hints of passion fruit, a subtle hint of lemon and distinguished minerality. Good length.
