Château Hosanna 2018 – Pomerol

The nose is elegant, fine, aromatic and offers a beautiful definition as well as an aromatic power. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet and small notes of Sichuan pepper associated with touches of wild strawberry, ripe cassis, fine hints of nutmeg, cocoa, spices and very discreet hints of roasted and a subtle hint of Cuben pepper. The palate is fresh, fruity, elegant, precise, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, a fine creaminess, tension as well as a beautiful gourmande material. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, fleshy blackberry and small notes of fleshy strawberry associated with small touches of juicy blueberry, cocoa, liquorice, flowers as well as subtle hints of roasted and an imperceptible hint of grilled bread. Tannins are elegant. Very fine hints of vanilla on the finish. Good length and persistence on notes of fleshy fruits, on a hint of flowers as well as hints of toasted, chocolate and vanilla.
