The nose is aromatic, mineral, racy and offers a beautiful grain as well as a slight intensity. It reveals notes of blackberry and cassis combined with small notes of small wild fruits, wild strawberries, pepper, cornflower, slight touches of spices as well as discreet hints of tobacco and discreet toasted hints. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant, round, very slightly tight and offers minerality, freshness, a small acidulous frame, fat, suavity as well as a gourmande matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, wild strawberry and small notes of small blue fruits, small ripe red berries associated with slight touches of spices, tonka bean as well as pepper and undergrowth. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length.
