Château Hervé Laroque 2022 – Fronsac

Château Hervé Laroque 2022 – Fronsac

The nose is fruity and offers a certain concentration as well as a little power. It reveals notes of crushed cassis, small concentrated fruits and small notes of small crushed red fruits associated with touches of liquorice stick as well as a hint of racy minerality and a discreet hint of warm local grove. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers smoothness, freshness, a certain minerality, sapidity as well as a certain gourmandise. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, crushed blackcurrant and small notes of small bright red berries associated with a touch of violet/acidulous plum as well as hints of pepper, racy minerality, fine hints graphite, chocolate, toasted and a hint of toasted almond. The tannins are supple and elegant. Power, minerality, freshness and concentration all in balance.
