Château Haut-Tellas Ovoid 2022 – Entre-Deux-Mers

The nose offers density, concentration and complexity. It expresses the freshness of citrus fruits and a sweet and creamy side of exotic fruits and stone fruits. We find notes of lemon zest, ripe lemon (fresh and candied), juicy yellow peach, ripe apricot, as well as juicy green pear, melon and a very subtle touch of plane banana. The nose also expresses elegant floral notes of apple blossom, hawthorn, acacia and herbaceous (fresh mint, verbena). On the palate, the wine is concentrated and precise. It expresses notes of ripe stone fruits (apricot, yellow peach), ripe lemon, crunchy pineapple and juicy melon, combined with floral notes of acacia, apple blossom and a touch of green pear. and granny apple in the background. The finish is long and fresh and offers a nice salivating acidity as well as complexity. At the end of the palate, the wine also expresses delicate spicy notes (cumin) and dried field flowers.
