Château Haut-Tellas 2020, Bordeaux

(no sulphur) On the nose, fruity and offers juiciness, nice juicy/ripe/fleshy fruit, sweetness and good definition. It reveals notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, raspberry and more lightly juicy black cherry combined with hints of violet, cherry blossom as well as hints of fresh/sparkling plum, subtle hints of licorice and hazelnut. On the palate, it offers good definition/structure, gourmandize, purity of fruit, finesse and an acidic frame. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, pulpy strawberry and more lightly bursting plum combined with hints of crushed cherry, cherry blossom, fresh lilac as well as very fine hints of licorice stick, a subtle hint of sweet spice and a discreet touch of chocolate. The tannins are structuring and relatively polished.
