The nose is fruity and offers a certain elegance, gourmandise and power. There are notes of crushed cherry, liquorice and, more slightly, bright strawberry, combined with fine notes of blackcurrant, violet and hints of cherry blossom and black tea. The palate is mineral, discreetly tight at present and offers fruit, freshness, a certain tension as well as fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy raspberry, juicy cherry and more slightly juicy blackberry combined with hints of violet, fresh lily and a fine touch of plum blossom, liquorice and chocolate. The tannins are tightly wound and mellow.
