The nose is fruity, mineral and offers a small intensity as well as a small concentration. It reveals notes of blackberry and small notes of flowers (iris, cornflower) associated with touchs of ripe red berries, violet as well as discreet hints of spices and liquorice stick. The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, juiciness, an acidulous frame, a fine tension, precision, straightness as well as a racy minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of wild blackberry, crunchy wild red berries associated with small touches of flowers (iris, cornflower and a subtle hint of peony) as well as fine hints of toasted, chocolate and very fine hints of caramelization. There is a subtle hint almost saline on the finish. Tannins are well-built. There is a very discreet hint of coffee on the persistence.
