The nose is fruity and offers a fine concentration. The wine needs to be decanted. We find notes of pulpy Boysenberry, pulpy-juicy cassis and small notes roasted cherry associated with touches of blond tobacco, licorice as well as a subtle hint of saffron (on its floral side) and sweet spices. The palate is juicy, fresh and offers minerality, a good definition, a certain precision, a mineral frame, a certain gourmandize as well as a fine straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, juicy/fresh raspberry and small notes of cassis associated with touches of violet, lily, cardamom as well as hints of toasted almond and a hint of chocolate. Tannins are supple and fresh. Good length. A little powdery cocoa side on the finish which brings gourmandize.
