The nose offers a small gourmandize, a fine concentration and elegance. It reveals notes of pulpy cassis, bright blackberry, small notes of crushed raspberry associated with touches of small crushed black berries, violet, lily as well as a hint of camphor, cardamom and very fine hints of toasted/chocolate. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, minerality as well as a stretchy side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy cassis, juicy blackberry, small notes of concentrated black plum associated with touches of juicy/fresh raspberry, lily, cornflower as well as small touches of liquorice, nutmeg, a discreet hint of cardamom, toasted and black tea. Good length. Tannins are well-built.
