The nose is aromatic and offers a small power, a fine intensity as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe wild blackberry and small notes of wild small fruits associated with a touch of ripe raspberry as well as hints of nutmeg, gray pepper, spices and fresh almond. The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced and offers a mineral frame, a good definition as well as juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy cassis, crunchy/juicy blackberry and small notes of fresh raspberry associated with small fine touches of flowers (violet), liquorice, cocoa as well as an imperceptible hint of nutmeg (in the background) and cardamom. Tannins are well-built, finely firm an structuring. Good length.
