The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The first nose is quite aromatic and expresses delicate woody and spicy notes (liquorice, nutmeg, a touch of vanilla in the background, toasted, a touch of cedar), with an elegant floral touch of violet. We also find aromas of juicy fruits (morello cherry, strawberry, red cherry, raspberry, red currant), as well as a touch of black plum. The palate is juicy, airy and tangy. It expresses notes of morello cherry, blackcurrant, red currant and bigarreau cherry, combined with spicy notes (liquorice, nutmeg, white pepper), dried mint and violet, as well as a hint of toast in the background. The tannins are grippy on the finish, but quite fine, powdery and cocoa-like. The finish is tangy, chiseled and lively.
