The nose will benefit from decanting. There are notes of ripe small black fruits, black pepper, and small notes of spices, combined with slight touches of nutmeg and a discreet hint of clove and toast. The wine is fruity on the palate and offers freshness, minerality, precision, good definition, and a little tension. On the palate, there are juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright/pulpy cherry, and small notes of pulpy cassis, combined with hints of star anise, blond tobacco and a hint of clove and toast. Good length. Precise, fine tannins. All in length with a little lack in extent.
