The nose offers a fine richness as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, vanilla and more slightly fleshy Guariguette strawberry associated with fine touches of toasted as well as a very discreet hint of nut (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, clean and offers a fine suavity, a fine mineral frame, a fine gourmandize as well as a very fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and fine touches of cassis bud associated with hints of red berries, zan, vanilla, toasted as well as a hint of mild tobacco. Tannins are mid-size. Good length.
