The nose is fruity, fresh and offers a little explosive/ “pointed” side as well as some finely tight depth. It reveals notes of juicy / fresh strawberries, pulpy redcurrants and more slightly cassis associated with fine touches of violet, saffron (floral side) as well as discreet hints of nutmeg / spices. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, freshness, minerality, good definition, a certain gourmandize as well as a tangy frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / luscious blackberry, juicy / luscious redcurrants and more slightly tangy / juicy raspberry associated with touches of fresh cherry, fresh flowers, saffron, racy minerality as well as discrete toasted almond tips and a hint of hazelnut. Tannins are delicious. Good length.
