Château Haut-Nouchet 2018 – Pessac-Léognan

The nose is fruity and offers gourmandize, a small minerality as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of fleshy nectarine, pear, small notes of kumquat associated with a very discreet hint of zests, a subtle hint of Mirabelle, flowers and very discreet hints of toasted (in the background). The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a beautiful freshness, minerality as well as an acidulous frame, fat and a good finesse of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fleshy nectarine, juicy/fresh quince, small notes of juicy/fresh Mirabelle associated with a touch of crunchy peach, lemon and an imperceptible hint of dry orange zests. Good length. A beautiful aromatic persistence.
