The nose is fruity and spicy. The wine gains from being decanted. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, wild raspberry and small notes of blueberry associated with touches of tobacco, camphor and a discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a fresh frame, suppleness, a certain delicacy as well as a certain brightness and pulpiness of the fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cassis, bright raspberry and small notes of pulpy blackberry associated with touches of cornflowers, toast and fine hints of chocolate. Tannins are mellow and gourmands. Good length. A hint of salinity and a good work on the good bitterness.
