The nose is fruity, fresh and offers a certain intensity, power, grain finesse and a certain richness. It expresses notes of boysenberry, pulpy raspberry and, more slightly, tangy fresh blueberry, combined with a touch of cherry blossom, fresh sap as well as fine hints of colas. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a fresh/juicy frame, roundness, gourmandise, a little creaminess on the palate. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, small creamy red berries and more slightly – violet and lily associated with touches of racy minerality, chocolate as well as hints of toasted hazelnut, sweet blond tobacco and with a fine hint of infusion/star anise. A subtle saline hint in the back of the mouth/persistence. Nice freshness and minerality.
