The nose is racy with notes of small black fruits, violets and small notes of blond tobacco associated with touches of incense, camphor as well as fine hints of torrefaction and a discreet hint of vanilla pod. We also perceive a discreet ink touch on the nose. The palate is mineral with freshness and fattiness. There is a certain fullness, roundness and juiciness that comes with energy. There are notes of morello cherries, roasted blackcurrant and small notes of roasted red berries associated with touches of camphor, cardamom as well as hints of mocha, toast and small notes of violet and blond tobacco. We perceive a certain darkness in the mouth. The tannins are supple. The tasting has a fine smoothness and a soft end on the persistent finish.
