The nose is flowery and juicy. There are notes of violet, lily and, more slightly, fresh blackberry, combined with delicate touches of crushed red berries, as well as fine nuances of racy minerality and a subtle hint of fresh nutmeg. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, sweetness, a fine unctuousness, fatness, acidity and a good work on the bitter taste. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of red berries, lily, iris and, more slightly, blackberry cream, combined with touches of crunchy cherry, as well as fine chocolate/toastiness in the background and a subtle hint of vanilla in the finish. The tannins are mellow. Fine varietal hints on the nose and palate.
