The nose is fruity, quite generous and relatively rich. It reveals notes of cassis, crushed blackberry, crushed strawberry and slight notes of Quetsche plum associated with a discreet hint of violet, zan as well as a hint of toasted oak and a very discreet hint of caramelization and pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, supple, sleek, slightly rich and offers a small freshness, a small fleshy as well as a slight acid frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, crunchy blackberry and slight notes of crushed Gariguette strawberry associated with a hint of plum, licorice, cardamom as well as a hint of graphite and toasted oak/sweet spices. Tannins are moderately fine and young. Good length and persistence.
