The nose is elegant, racy and offers power, a certain deepness and concentration. It reveals notes of bright blackberry, plumand small notes of bright raspberry associated with touches of violet, Sichuan pepper, pulpy blueberry, griotte as well as discreet hints of vanilla pod and a subtle hint of incense. The palate is elegant, silky, suave, beautifully defined and offers a good finesse of the grain, freshness, a small racy minerality and a certain tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cassis, violet plumand small notes of violet associated with touches of raspberry as well as hints of bright black cherry, cornflower, a very discreet hint of coffee, toasted and vanilla. Tannins are finely firm.
