Château Haut-Claverie 2020, Sauternes

On the nose, fresh, fruity. It reveals notes of fresh/juicy mirabelle plum, fresh/pulpy yellow berries and slightly candied nectarine combined with hints of white berries, lemon/citrus and a subtle touch of acacia (in the background). On the palate, fruity and offers minerality, energy, a certain gourmandize, an acidic frame as well as juiciness, a fine tension. The wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh lemon, kumquat and more lightly crystallized tangerine combined with hints of fresh/juicy peach and fine zest/acacia flowers. A discreet touch of almond at the end of the mouth. A slightly short and finely firm finish.
