The nose is fruity, aromatic, slightly elegant and relatively concentrated. It reveals notes of fleshy/ripe blackberry, fresh/ripe strawberry and a hint of fresh/ripe small red berries associated with discreet hints of licorice, a hint of pepper as well as a very discreet hint of minerality and cornflower. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a slight freshness, unctuosity, a beautiful fresh/acid frame as well as a beautiful fat. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy/fresh blackberry, fresh/ripe strawberry and touches of fresh/ripe cherry associated with a slight hint of black cherry/griotte, licorice as well as a discreet hint of toasted oak and an imperceptible hint of coffee. Tannins are fine and very slightly dry. Good length.
