The nose is fruity, elegant, well-built and offers a small concentration as well as a fine richness. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy/juicy cassis and small notes of fleshy wild strawberry associated with small touches of small wild fruits, small berries, cornflower, hints of liquorice as well as a discreet hint of Cuben pepper and nutmeg (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful ripe/juicy fruit, tension, a beautiful grain, a fine acidulous frame, freshness, gourmandize, minerality as well as a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, fleshy cassis and small notes of wild raspberry associated with small touches of liquorice, tonka bean as well as hints of toasted. Tannins are well-built and elegant. Good length and beautiful persistence. A very fine chew on the finish.
