The nose is aromatic, fresh and offers juiciness. It reveals notes of cassis, wild blackberry and small notes of ripe / fresh wild red berries associated with subtle / subtle touches of bulb / flowers, spices and an imperceptible hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful freshness, a beautiful saline / iodine minerality, a small fat as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy /crunchy cassis and small notes of blackberry, crunchy red berries associated with small / fine touches of fresh / crunchy raspberry, crunchy cherry, licorice, fine toasted touches, spices as well as a hint of salt, a discreet hint of Ceylon tea, cocoa and blond tobacco (in the background). Tannins are well-built.
