The nose offers notes of blackberry, cassis and toasted notes associated with small touches of red fruits, Cuben pepper, violet, spices as well as very discreet hints of Zan and an imperceptible hint of vanilla (in the background). The wine needs to be put in carafe. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, very slightly tight and offers precision, juiciness, a very fine suavity, a fine minerality as well as a fine freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry / juicy, fleshy cassis and small notes of strawberry associated with touches of red berries, violet, toasted touches as well as discreet hints of chocolate and sweet spices. Tannins are well-built. There are a hint of caramelization, liquorice and a hint vanilla on the persistence. There are an imperceptible hint of almond and cocoa on the aftertaste.
