Château Haut-Brion 2024 – Pessac-Léognan

The nose is elegant, racy, precise and offers good definition, purity, a multi-layered side and a lovely, textured in finesse. There are notes of flat peach, fresh citrus and small notes of fresh gravel, associated with fine hints of gunflint, salinity, discreet hints of almost fresh pineapple, as well as a delicate hint of fresh butter/small fresh/juicy yellow fruits. The palate is well-built, fruity, fresh, elegant, delicate, precise, clean and offers precision, delicacy, a crystalline character, justly conducted energy as well as a lovely delicate, coating and airy fatness. A fine, airy unctuosity. All in subtlety. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy lemon, vine peach and small notes of bright apple, combined with touches of crushed brugnon, a fine hint of pineapple, mandarin, gunflint, smoke, as well as discreet hints of small fresh yellow fruits, an imperceptible hint of verbena and sap/pine needles. Good length. Good aromatic persistence, sapid and finely creamy.
