The nose is fruity, fresh, tense, racy and currently a bit tight (needs time to open up). It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, crushed strawberry and slight notes of cornflower/violet associated with touches of creamy berries (blue, red) as well as hints of liquorice stick, salinity and a fine hint almost eucalyptus. The palate is fruity, coating and offers minerality, juiciness, some creaminess, a nice delicate fattiness, a certain straightness, but fine and without austerity, a nice minerality/freshness, a discreetly tight grain. A nice saline character. A “light” and delicate richness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of creamy blackberry, pulpy blackcurrant and slight hints of raspberry/small bright red berries associated with touches of violet, cornflower, licorice stick as well as slight hints of salinity, racy minerality and with a discreet crystalline hint. The tannins are supple and elegant. Very nice acidity!
