The palate is juicy, fruity, structured, straight, elegant, precise, racy and offers a beautiful definition, a pure fruit, fullness, finesse, a bit aery as well as a small tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy cassis and more slightly raspberry associated with fine touches of fleshy red berries, subtle hint of cherry, a fine touches of toasted almond, sweet spices, racy/grainy minerality, vanilla, toasted oak, a very discreet hint of nougatine (in the background) as well as a imperceptible hint of tea and tonka bean (in the background). Tannins are fine, elegant and slightly firm. Good length. Chews on the finish. There is a hint of acidulous fruits, flowers and a very discreet hint of cocoa bitter (in the background) on the persistence.
