Château Haut-Brion 2017 – Pessac-Léognan

The nose is fresh, elegant, crunchy, racy, complexe, elegant and offers a fine minerality, a beautiful balance as well as a very fine richness (in the background). It reveals notes of ripe/fresh lemon, ripe/fresh green apple and mores slightly crunchy vine peach associated with fine touches of zests, racy/saline minerality, a hint of gray pepper as well as fine touches of exotic fruits, almond, a very discreet hint of spices and rose (in the background). The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers a very beautiful definition, tension, an acid frame, fleshiness, gourmandize, suavity, precision, vivacity, a very fine unctuosity, finesse, a very fine straightness as well as a beautiful grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe lemon, ripe mandarin, fleshy/ripe vine peach and fine touches of exotic fruits associated with discreet hints of flower, crunchy William pear, quenette/passion fruit as well as fine hints of toasted, acidulous and almond on the finish. Very beautiful gourmand and suave finish. Very beautiful persistence. Well done!
