On the nose it is fruiy, elegant and it offers power, a nice fineness of grain as well as some intensity. It reveals the notes of blackberry, pulpy raspberry and small red wild currants associated with lily, small black fruits as well as hints of black tea, camphor, cornflower, blond tobacco, discreet toasted notes and a subtle hint of roasting. The palate is fruity, balanced, racy, finely tightened and offers a nice freshness, minerality, good definition, a certain gourmandize, a tangy frame, juiciness, tension in finesse, a small compact side as well as fat. The wine express the notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, bright cassis and, more slightly, pulpy/chunky raspberry associated with touches of violet, cherry blossom, racy minerality, hints of camphor, nutmeg, tea, cardamom, as well as a subtle touch of vanilla and toasted hazelnut. The tannins are precise, well conducted and very finely firm. Good persistence.
