The nose is elegant, aromatic and offers a small power. It reveals notes of cassis, liquorice, small crunchy fruits associated with fine touches of violet, grey pepper as well as hints of spices and a very fine hint of fresh leather. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a mineral frame, juiciness, a small tension as well as precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cassis, pulpy/juicy blackberry, small notes of pulpy cherry associated with touches of small red berries, violet/lily as well as fine hints of tonka bean, sugared mild tobacco and cardamom. Good length. Tannins are well-built and racy.
