The nose offers some spiciness, a good definition. There are notes of pulpy raspberry, juicy blackberry and, to a lesser extent, bright blackcurrant, with hints of violet, vanilla and subtle hints of grey pepper and spice. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, good definition, a certain juiciness and a mineral backbone. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy, pulpy blackberry, fresh raspberry and more lightly fresh and juicy red berries combined with hints of lily, violet as well as discreet hints of nutmeg and a subtle touch of cardamom. Good length. The tannins are finely mellow.
