The nose is fruity and offers a fine concentration/richness. It reveals notes of cassis, cherry, small notes of small wild red berries associated with touches of zan, a discreet hint of cardamom and a very discreet hint of grey pepper. The mouth is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, a good definition as well as roundness, fat, a certain gourmandize and suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright cherry, small notes of crushed cassis associated with touches of violet, raspberry as well as hints of racy/nearly iodized minerality, fine hints of coffee, mocha and torrefaction. Good length. The tannins are structing and racy/finely firm.
