The nose is elegant, powerful, fine and offers a fine/racy grain. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, griotteand small notes of violet associated with touches of pepper, iris as well as fine hints of zan, mild tobacco, a discreet hint of sweet spices and caramelization. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, a small crunchiness of the fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, cassis and small notes of griotte associated with small touches of violet, small red berries as well as a subtle hint of liquorice and notes of quite marked woody notes. Tannins are finely marked. A very discreet hint of coffee on the persistence.
