The mouth is fruity and offers juiciness, a nice freshness, a good definition, gourmandize, roundness as well as suavity, energy, depth and a compact side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, creamy cassis, small notes of juicy/pulpy raspberry associated with touches of juicy/bright cherry, violet as well as fine hints of racy minerality/gravely, saffron, fine hints of star anis, an imperceptible hint of cacao/tonka bean and a subtle hint of dark tea (in the background). Good length. The tannins are fine and elegant.
