The nose is fruity and reveals racy power, a fine restraint in its power and a lovely racy grain. There are notes of pulpy/fresh blackcurrant and, more slightly, bright raspberry combined with hints of fleshy red berries and fine nuances of lily, a discreet hint of racy minerality, lilac and a discreet hint of graphite/pepper. The palate is fruity and reveals a nice freshness, acidity, energy, dynamism, a fine tightness/restraint and good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, red currant and more slightly pulpy cherry combined with fine notes of tart blackcurrant as well as discrete nuances of lily, toasted almond, subtle hints of cardamom. Good length.
