The nose is fruity and offers a fine intensity, freshness and fresh, ripe fruit. There are notes of fresh/juicy wild blackberry, bright blackcurrant and, more slightly, pulpy/fresh cherry, combined with hints of fresh red berries, as well as subtle hints of racy minerality, liquorice, a discreet hint of flowers (in the background) and a discreet hint of pepper. The fruit is just ripe and fresh (sometimes even crunchy), with a very discreet floral hint in the background. The palate is fruity and reveals freshness, minerality, acidity, precision and energy. On the palate this wine expresses crisp/fresh fruit, juicy blackcurrant and more lightly violet, iris notes combined with touches of racy minerality, fresh crunchy red berries and hints of mocha and toast. A subtle hint of cardamom. The tannins are well managed.
