The nose is fruity, elegant and offers gourmandize, harmony and good definition. There are notes of bright blackcurrant, fresh violet and a hint of pepper combined with touches of bright red berries, fine tonka bean, cardamom and a subtle hint of morello cherry, blueberry and a subtle touch of tobacco. The palate is mineral, fruity and reveals good definition, tension, precision, fine straightness and energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, fresh/pulpy plum and more lightly violet combined with hints of lily, racy minerality and fine hints of liquorice, a discreet touch of pepper and toast in the background. The tannins are tight. A very discreet hint of rose on the finish.
