The nose is aromatic and offers a beautiful grain, gourmandise as well as a fine density. The wine needs to be put in carafe. It reveals notes of blackberry, crunchy strawberry and small notes of fleshy cassis associated with hints of Sichuan pepper, flowers, spices and an imperceptible hint of camphor. The palate is fruity, juicy, fleshy, well-balanced, racy and offers gourmandise, generosity, a fine suavity, a fine mineral frame as well as a (very) slight acidity (in the background). On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy strawberry and small notes of raspberry associated with fine touches of juicy cherry, juicy blueberry, vanilla, fine toasted touches, colas and an imperceptible touch of cardamom. Tannins are fine and well-built. There is a very discreet hint of crushed hazelnut on the persistence.
