The nose is fruity and offers a small concentration of the fruit, freshness, energy as well as a very fine power. It reveals notes of cassis, wild crushed strawberry, small notes of griots associated with touches of small crushed red berries, small notes of griots associated with small touches of crushed/quite ripe red berries as well as hints of Badiane, violet, a discreet hint of pepper and nearly saline/iodized minerality. The mouth is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, gourmandize as well as a good definition, roundness, gourmandize, richness coupled with an aerial character. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, crushed cassis, small notes of strawberry associated with touches of raspberry, violet, graphite, dark chocolate/cacao as well as fine hints of vanilla incense, dark tea, a discreet hint of graphite/iodized minerality and sap. Good length. The tannins are finely soft.
