Château Guimberteau – Cuvée Tradition 2015 – Lalande-de-Pomerol

The nose is fruity and offers a fine richness as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of ripe berries / cassis, redcurrant and fine touches of cornflower, strawberry, wood combined with slight notes of caramelization, chocolate as well as very discreet hints of undergrowth / earth and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, silky and offers a fine juiciness, an acid frame, suavity, a good structure as well as a fine minerality. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy cassis, blueberry and raspberry combined with fine touches of blackberry, wood, caramelisation, zan as well as a subtle hint of flower and a very discreet hint of sweet spices. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
