The nose is fruity, slightly velvety and offers a slight gourmandise. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, plum and small notes of violet combined with touches of Bourbon vanilla as well as discreet hints of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a slight mineral frame, a slight acidity (in the background), a slight straightness as well as a slight suavity / fatness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, plum and small notes of cassis associated with small touches of red fruits, Zan, blond tobacco, Lapsang Souchong tea as well as slight vanilla / toasted hints and very discreet hints of caramelisation. Tannins are very slightly firm / mellow. Good length.
