The nose is fruity and reveals a fine richness, a little intensity, a certain gourmandize and a fine complexity. There are notes of blackberry, blueberry and more lightly fresh blueberry/blackberry combined with a touch of crushed strawberry as well as hints of blueberry, vanilla and a subtle hint of liquorice. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, freshness and some tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh blackberry, fresh purple plum and more lightly blueberry combined with hints of fresh raspberry, racy minerality, fine camphor, zan and a discreet hint of varietal and mocha. Good length. The tannins are light and mellow. A little chewiness on the finish/gourmandize.
